Ok. There are two remaining steps:
making it all work at runtime, and fixing the remaining problems with the rotation
itself. The code to switch orientation at runtime is basically the same code needed to
switch resolutions and color depths at runtime. The infrastructure is mostly there, I
just need to separate the act of initializing from setting the mode.

Okay. Good idea to standardize things. My little log started out as me writing down
everything I changed over that christmas road trip. Next time I have CVS access I'll
move it to an 'old log' file and start a new one in the standard format.
