Just thought I'd warn you that the field widget is a bit hackish, because it's
destined to be replaced (someday now...) with the (mythical?) text layout engine.
So, if there's a relatively quick hack you can make to add multiline support i'd go
for it. But, if you wanted to make it nicer than that I should probably tell you what
I have planned for the text layout engine. (though it requires a bit of mucking about
in the server internals)
