I just comitted the fast slab, bar, line, and blit primitives for the linear2 and 
linear4 VBLs. All the most important primitives (except for charblit) are now 
implemented in the linear1, linear2, and linear4 VBLs so they should all be fast 
enough for use on slow CPUs like the Dragonball now.
