Your patch worked just fine. I mistakenly had left my config file set to the
generic Linux mode instead of Linux-mips. I had been testing something and
just forgot to change it back.

I've also managed to get a fully working rootdisk for the VR3 that'll run
the pgserver plus my own custom program launcher. I can't release it quite
yet, though, because the only available internet connection in this *highly
remote* area called the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex is 56K dial-up.  Once
it's polished a little more, I'll upload it somewhere.
