Mark,
I am new to this list, but here are my opinons.

If you are talking about diagrams (UML, flow, DB design, etc) why not
use Dia. It does a great job.

For actual graphics why not just use PNG or JPG files, that way no one
really cares what is used to create them.

For screen layouts it might be easiest to use Gnome's Glade. It makes
screen layouts easy and you could just send the XML files. I know the
widgets would not match exactly, but it would give the general idea.

Just my thoughts.
Bob

Subject: [Pgui-devel] PIM gui pictures

Hello everyone,

We've discussed the stuff that I'm going to try and make PIM v1.0 do
from a
user's point of view. Last weekend, I sketched the layout of the
various
screens. I'd like to post them to the list for comment and would like
to
know - what's the best way to send them? I have StarOffice with all its

graphics tools. At home I've got MS Paint and in the office I've got
MSWord
(I think you can draw pictures with that). I'd also be happy to install
any
GPL, freeware picture drawing package that we can agree to use. I might
be
able to get my hands on a scanner BUT I'm not sure.

Let me know what y'all think.

BTW, started looking at rcS and the mostly black screen problem.
Nothing
much to say other than I haven't forgotten about it.

Take it easy

Mark
