A few small notes for people that are using alpha blending- 1. If you're using 16bpp color, there is now a "Fast alpha blending" option in the Video Base Libaries menu that should substantially speed up alpha blending, at the cost of about 32k of memory. My tests have shown it to be about 3000% faster.
