Hi folks
First of all - Yunus, thanks for the info. I've got Matt Welland's kernel source and I made the following changes to pgui-.config >CONFIG_NETDEVICES=y >CONFIG_PPP=y >CONFIG_PPP_ASYNC=y >CONFIG_PPP_SYNC_TTY=y I want to be able to use tcp/ip over the serial port to talk to a laptop via its ip address. Various HOWTOs say I gotta do this via ppp. Anyway, I compiled a kernel with the above settings and it boots but does not give me a shell prompt via minicom. Instead, I get ****************** Update (sub: 0x1005B214) def_sprite_protectarea def_sprite_showall def_sprite_show ****************** Update (sub: 0x1005B5AC) def_sprite_protectarea def_sprite_showall def_sprite_show over and over and over again. Does anyone know what this stuff is?
