I've been having a look at PicoGUI, and in order to have something to
play with decided to try and do a rough clone of the Agenda VR3's
schedule app. I've written something which although somewhat
bug-ridden does seem to be functional, so I thought I'd post a link to
it here.

I probably don't intend to take the code I've written much further as
it does what I want. I also think there is a complete integrated PIM
app being developed at the moment which there is not much point trying
to duplicate. If any of the code is useful to anyone though it is at
http://www.hollo.org/pgui/ along with a couple of hastily made
screenshots.

P.S. You'll need a copy of libdb1 to compile it. If you don't have it
then grab a copy + patch from:
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/source/libs/libdb_1.85.4.orig.tar.gz
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/source/libs/libdb_1.85.4-4.diff.gz
