I updated the text file reader to do some other formats as well.
Currently it does plain text files, bzip2, gzip, and the ppm files.
I've made it quite easy to add other formats too -- adding gzip cost
only took about 30 lines of code, most of it fuction headers. I also
added an option to choose whether to reparagraph or not.

I've also put out a copy of the program I use to bring ppp network
connections up and down on my agenda. It generates the ppp options
files from it's own (gui edited) config file, and then calls pppd and
displays the progress. It needs to run with permission to write into
/etc/ppp/ though.
