Hi Everybody,

If you haven't seen it yet, PicoGUI has a pretty nifty new theme - Fluidity.
The last two screenshots on picogui.org cover it. The current Fluidity theme is
targeting QVGA-sized color PDA displays, but other versions should be made to
target larger (desktop-sized) displays, smaller and/or grayscale displays, and
even maybe OpenGL.

In other news, I'm still pretty busy fixing bugs in pgserver. Check the
sourceforge bug tracker for up to date info.

I'm also working on improving PicoGUI's support for SDL. I just added a new
"rotateblit" primitive to pgserver that makes it possible to run SDL programs
on a rotated display. I'm still working on a new patch to SDL with lots of new
features, like this rotation, centering the SDL screen in the picogui panel,
and even a menu to tweak features of the SDL backend.

As libsdl.org mentions, SDL 1.2.5 was released on October 6, and includes the
basic PicoGUI support patch that was integrated into their CVS in August.

A release is still around the corner! After I fix most of these more critical
bugs (mostly in the textbox/field) I think picogui's ready for a first numbered
release, 0.42. Still undecided about the code name... I haven't been very happy
with User Friendly lately, so maybe I'll find another way to name PicoGUI
releases. "Evil Genius" is still a great name for 1.0 IMHO, but we could use
anime, cartoons, books, or just random geek jokes for other names. Maybe
something like "Waffle of Justice" for 0.42 :)
