Hi, I've a question regarding the handling of external event sources... I've a customized select which receives events from other programs. My main loop displays an indicator, used as a progress bar, which is updated by an idle loop. When I receive a certain external event, I need to stop the progress bar.
Here is the problem: I can receive the events in the customized
select, I can call back my functions in the bottomhalf handler, but...
1.- a pgExitEventLoop performed in the bottomhalf handler or in
the idle loop has no effect (_pg_recvtimeout does not check
for this condition)
2.- if I use pgEventPoll (), the customized select is not used.
...and therefore, I feel a bit stucked :-)
