I've downloaded PicoGUI and am attempting to evaluate it but am having no luck compiling the distribution. I've tried both 0.43 and the latest CVS snapshot with the same results.
The make terminates with an error from a perl script (fontdef.pl) complaining that c0c02.fl was not found (and indeed it does not exist in the font directory). The exact steps I performed are
- Unpacked tarball
- cd to picogui/pgserver
- ./autogen.sh (warnings and terminates with error re configure substitutions not allows in _SOURCES variables - FAQ says to expect an error) - only for the CVS snapshot
- ./configure
- make
Any assistance would be appreciated. PicoGUI looks close to what I was looking for so I really don't want to give up at the first step.
ps: Apologies if this has arisen on list before - the sourceforge archives for this list don't seem to exist.
