Excellent idea Lalo !

We will add one or two details.

Smartdata is willing to contribute to these topics:

      * Widget foundry

        It is an important tool helping us to better communicate with
        our customer's usability department. E.g. they can re-arrange
        the layout until they are happy, then send us back the widget
        template.

        We propose to first work on a spec proposal, then a roadmap,
        then code some parts (depending on the spec).

      * Controllable textbox

        We propose a same contribution as above.

So the new PicoGUI public name will be 2.x ? That is an excellent idea,
since PicoGUI is already a recognized name. Being still modular I hope,
2.x will still be possibly 'pico'. But what we could do is find a cool
code name for 2.x.

  Pascal
