We use a numeric display, that has to be used alfa-numericly sometimes, to enter text. Indeed, just like a cellphone. I was thinking I would have to implement this using an inputfilter on the client side. But apart from this, we use 2, 8, 4 and 6 as arrowkeys to navigate through our config menus. So depending on where the focus is, we need different actions when for instance the '8' key is pressed. On a menuitem, I want it to act as 'hotkey_down'. In an editbox, I want '8' (or indeed maybe 't'/'u'/'v') So it would be very interesting if I could have a look at the input driver you implemented. As for the shared memory api, do you notice a big speed improvement?
