Just toolbar can be done with exising app mgrs. But I am placing a BOX widget in the dts->root divtree and putting icons in that, so that it looks like desktop. when ever an icon is clicked I am starting an application and I thought that should not in the same layer as the desktop because when that application is resized to half of the screen, desktop box occupies the remaining half and resizes to that size. (It is not the case in our desktops. desktop should not resize, it must occupy the whole screen). That is why I went for new divtree. > Why are you creating a new divtree?
