I suggest you try them all, and see what's the difference. From what I remember, correct me if I'm wrong: -managed rootless: apps can be selected/moved independently -panel: apps are either minimised or maximised, each app has its panel with buttons, by clicking them you can minimise / maximise the application widget. -null: just that, no application manager (last created app is on top) > Currently I have a scenario, where I have several apps in one client > registered at the pgserver using > pgRegisterApp(PG_APP_NORMAL, "MyApp_1",0) > pgRegisterApp(PG_APP_NORMAL, "MyApp_2",0) > pgRegisterApp(PG_APP_NORMAL, "MyApp_3",0) > > When I want to show for instance MyApp_2 instead of MyApp_1 I use > > pgSetWidget(pgFindWidget"MyApp_1",PG_WP_SIZE, 0,0); > pgSetWidget(pgFindWidget"MyApp_2",PG_WP_SIZE, PG_WP_ALL, 0); That's what I do as well > I there any possibility to bring an application to the top regardless, > which APP is currently on the screen ? No, I think this is the best way. For my specific requirement, I created a prio-based app manager to do the job. It keeps track of the prios of all applications, and places the highest prio on top. Of course it has to know the application that was previously-on-top, to change it's size to 0. In my situation, applications do not know of eachothers priorities, they can't even decide whether they should be on top or not. > Or is there a better way to navigate between several Apps ? I think selecting applications is an application manager job. If there isn't one that does what you want, create your own. > How can I toggle between Applications, when there are more than one Client > ? The application manager still works, regardless of the number of clients. If you implement the selection of apps as an application manager, you should be fine.
