On the server you have many options - if you use seaside you can use many javascript/jquery plugins to render a barcode on the clients webbbrowser. Having barcode created directly in Pharo as form is nice when you create documents with Artefact (Pharo PDF framework) and want to put a barcode onto them. Bye T.
