Dear all, (apologies if you receive multiple copies) We have a 12-months open position for a research engineer. The candidate will be in charge of refactoring of our legacy tools developed under Visualworks, in the scope of an ANR (french national research agency) project. The ardyt project aims at providing some low-cost reconfigurable system on chip, that addresses the avionics and space domains. Our contribution to the project mainly lies in providing a modeling framework of this chips, in order to support their efficient programming. Our candidate will have strong expertise in smalltalk, modeling, testing, versionning, and code profiling. Micro-electronics skills would be a plus, but are not necessary. Autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, planning, and the ability to achieve both academic and project objectives are important components of the application file. Salary depends on skills and experience.
