This is a good question I was always wondering. I think it is related to event triggered in DependentFields of Object. It triggers several events. Weak because somehow there are weak event handled without weak references, probably due to the lack of ephemerons. (in some case the activation of the event or a veryDeepCopy delete the event if it is not referenced)
