At this point, I am storing some code in Bitbucket (private git repos) with
FileTree + SourceTree app for the push/fetch/commit/you-name-it-command

But that's for reference storage.

For the daily work, it is a FTP server with plain Mcz files (which do
contain a sources.st file internally for each package).

Works well.

And yes, having a lot of chunks is a pain in the assets when reading GitHub
source folders. Not that I would want to do that anyway.
