The best way to reproduce it is to buy a magic mouse :) Sometimes I am about to touch the mouse and an awful lot of events is created. The system browser happily consumes all of them and I can watch all panes select/deselect/scroll/etc. Usually 2-3 seconds later it stops and I can use the history to go back to the last place I've been. So the history saves my day! There is no way for me to reproduce. It just happens a lot of times.
