I gathered the Mantis fixes captured by "Issue 35: 7084CollectionEnh
(M1660 M1602)"
This is a relatively large change as it includes 4 mantis reports.
The first one improves performance when writing on a
RWBinaryOrTextStream.
The second three issues are related to interval inclusion tests that
were buggy.

Please review and check that I have not done any mistakes (there are a
