We use the Squeak VNC server http://www.squeaksource.com/RFB.html,
which works very well.

looks
comparatively slow, no doubt because ever windowing operation is
seen as
a change to the on main window. I do not know what to make of it,
other
than it might be a argument in favor of one native window per system
window.
