I do not (completely) agree. Using the OB-based browser, things are
way better. You can search by category (which was already possible
without), by name or by status (installed, upgradable, selected).

This is not true. Open the browser, select your package and read the
description.

I never read anything about that before. What is the problem exactly?

I agree with the other critics and would prefer to use Sake/Packages.
However, I have several problems with Sake/Packages as well:

1. There is no state as far as I know. Which means that if both
packages B and C depend on A, installing B then installing C will
install A twice.

2. There is no graphical user interface to install packages. This is
not a problem for me because I script everything but it can be
problematic for newcomers.

As soon as 1 is fixed, I could implement 2 using OB.
