When using OmniBrowser, you also get extensions to LazyListMorph and PluggableListMorph (in classes prefixed with 'OB') that also support coloring of list items even when not using Polymoprh. In case you need this.
OmniBrowser itself directly supports coloring of list items in the model by letting nodes answer a #backgroundColor.
