there's another issue in this method. If WorldState is not present, no
launcher is called. It should be:
(ws := Smalltalk at: #WorldState ifAbsent: [ nil ])
ifNotNil: [
launchers do: [:launcher |
ws addDeferredUIMessage: [launcher startUp]] ]
ifNil: [
launchers do: [:launcher |
launcher startUp]].
