Try NewTextMorph!

t := NewTextMorph new.
        t
                borderWidth: 1;
                borderColor: Color red;
                color: Color white;
                padding: 5 ;
                readOnly: true;
                autoFit: true ;
                text: 'I present my text as read only ' asText ;
                openInWorld.
