I just did a simplest possible thing: svn export ...
and then pushed resulting files to git.

If you (or anyone else) want to help with that, just register, and i
will simply add you to squeak-vm-developers group,
so you can copy the whole history.
I'm not very handy with these command-line SCM tools. So, if there's
more experienced people hiding in the shadows , please step forward :)
