I won't go explaining over again, why we choose gitorious. If you want, you
can read about it at vm-dev list. Feel free to resurrect that topic and put
your arguments there.
But this is not about 'official' source code. It is about issue tracker.
What is clear, that we need a public place where we can collect and track
Cog issues and their resolution.
And P.S. Lets just avoid putting labels 'official' vs 'non-official'. I
prefer to express things in terms public vs private.
Gitorious is a public place, where you can register and add whatever
project you want. As well as google code.
In contrast, squeakvm.org SVN is far from being public, because you cannot
commit anything there unless you obtain an 'official' permission from
selected persons.
