It's been some time since I last used announcements. I had the impression that
one of the benefits of announcements is that every object can play the role of
an announcment. So I would expect the following to work

| ann |
ann := Announcer new.
ann subscribe: Object do: [ Transcript show: 'received object announcement' ].
ann announce: Object new asAnnouncement

As this is not working I wonder what is a good approach to wire my own model
with announcements. Deriving my model from Announcement is not an option. And
I'm a little bit reluctant to create yet another hierarchy of Announcement
class just for the purpose of signalling them. The classes I like to announce
are commands anyway so they are already suited for transmission. So what are
the options? Override Object>>#handles: ?

thanks,

Norbert
