There is now a command line option to print the image version. To test it:
wget --quiet -qO - http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/ci/ciPharo20NBCog.sh | bash make sure it's the latest: ./vm.sh Pharo.image update now print version: ./vm.sh Pharo.image printVersion ==> should print "[version] 2.0 #20402" This can be used in Jenkins with the "Description Setter" Plugin.
