Hi Marcus, I figured it must be the complexity of fixing the debugger that's keeping it in the broken state that it is for this long. Mainly I wanted to get a sense of how important is fixing this relative to the other things that need fixing. It would seem to me that fixing the tool that you use to fix things in general would be right up there, but maybe, possibly because the people capable of fixing this aren't significantly handicapped by the issues, this is not as much a priority as it could be.
