"Ubuntu Phone is based on the desktop version of

replacing
standard graphical environment with mobile version of
Unity<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unity_(user_interface)>.
Its interface is based on Qt <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qt_(framework)>
 and QML

Need to dig into my experiments with tiny core linux... where I could
easily run Pharo UI. May require a bit of work to get the UI up and
running.. very doable.

Not sure of the market though with this being yet another mobile OS, given
the muscle of Android, win 8, apple iOS, will it survive, unless Samsung
adopts it.. or anyone like them.
