Actually this bug is not rare at all and is far more serious as expected. It 
occurs whenever you want to paste an image with an alpha channel on top of 
another image with alpha channel. We need to scan all occurrences of paste to 
see if it is correct. imtools.paste now does seem to do the right thing 
identical to Gimp.
