We look forward to seeing many of you there. Best, Kyle Mitchell and Shyane Siriwardena ABSTRACT: I will offer an exposition and defense of Wittgenstein's hyper-deflationary views about how traditional theoretical philosophizing inevitably goes wrong and about what should be done instead. Special attention will be given to: (i) why the same alleged defects don’t afflict the sciences, (ii) whether his anti-theoretical position is itself theoretical, hence inconsistent, and (iii) the character of his 'linguistic turn'. -- Kyle Mitchell and Shyane Siriwardena Secretaries of the Moral Sciences Club Faculty of Philosophy University of Cambridge [email protected] http://www.phil.cam.ac.uk/seminars-phil/seminars-msc
