Dear all,
I would just like to draw everyone's attention to the fact that placing
copyrighted materials (e.g. book chapters and journal articles) on a
publicly available website is an infringement of copyright law.

*This includes placing such materials in a publicly available cloud-based
service such as Dropbox**. Dropbox explain this themselves in their terms
and conditions which are available here:
https://www.dropbox.com/help/210/en.
An extract: "You do not have the right to share files unless you own the
copyright in them or have been given permission by the copyright owner to
share them".

You are strongly advised to remove any such materials that you have shared
on Dropbox as you could be personally liable for copyright infringement.

Please do contact either myself or the University's Copyright Officer, if
you have any queries about this.
Best wishes,
Jenni
