This is to say that the Philosophy and History of Physics group will meet on Tuesdays, starting NEXT Tuesday 29 April: at the usual time 2.00 -- 3.00 in Seminar Room 1, history and philosophy of science department.

This term we will read Hasok Chang’s prize winning book: Is Water H20?

ON Tuesday 29 April, I will start the discussion of the Introduction and Chapter 1.

Im  asking for book to be on reserve at ethe Whipple library.

NB: There is now a paperback edition, and an e book. So you may well want to buy the book! Details are at:
