Hi all, Just a reminder that the David Lewis/Steve Yablo reading group first meets a week from today (on the 9th of December at 2 o'clock). For this meeting we will be reading New Work for a Theory of Universals, which is available here <http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/00048408312341131>, amongst other places.
This paper is fairly long so if people are short on time I suggest reading the first half of the paper (up to p. 358 in the linked version). This should be enough to give you a good grip of the paper. I'll also give a brief summary of the paper at the start of the meeting and hopefully that should give people enough background to follow the conversation. I've booked the philosophy board room so that we don't have to worry about room availability so we'll meet there.
