Kant Reading Group
Wed 11.00-12.30, Philosophy Board Room

The topic of the Kant Reading Group this term is Kant’s philosophy of biology.
We’ll discuss Kant’s notion of the organism, the role and status of
teleological principles in the study of nature, and the relationship of
teleological considerations and mechanistic explanations. Readings will include
passages from the Critique of Judgment and related sections from the Critique
of Pure Reason.

All welcome!
