Dear all, next week we have the folllowing Women in Philosophy events:
- Postgraduate Application Workshop If you are thinking of applying for Masters and PhD and have questions about the application process, come to the Granta and we will try to answer your queries and share our postgrad experience. You can also email us in advance with more specific issues you may have, and we will do our best to help you! The event is free and open to all self-defining women. When: Monday 28th November, 5-6pm Where: The Granta (14 Newnham Rd, Cambridge CB3 9EX) - Lunch with Lucy O'Brien An informal meeting with Professor Lucy O'Brien (UCL) to discuss WiP-related matters and share our ideas and experiences. After lunch we will all go to O'Brien's talk on "Shameful Self-Consciousness" at the Moral Sciences Club (2:30 pm, Barbara White Room, Newnham College). The event is free and open to all self-defining women. If you wish to attend the lunch, please email Caterina ([email protected]). Food can be purchased from Newnham's buttery - we will bring tea and cake!
