The Cambridge Forum for Legal & Political Philosophy will host its fourth 
monthly seminar of the 2016-17 academic year tomorrow, Thursday, January 19th, 
at 3:00pm, in Room B16 of the Law Faculty Building. [PLEASE NOTE THAT ROOM B16, 
IN THE BASEMENT OF THE LAW FACULTY BUILDING, IS AGAIN THE VENUE OF THE 
SEMINAR.] The seminar will be chaired by Dr Thomas Adams, who is currently a 
Fellow of Corpus Christi College.

For the reading, Tom has chosen about three quarters of a paper by Mark 
Greenberg, "Legislation as Communication? Legal Interpretation and the Study of 
Linguistic Communication."  Unless you're really keen to read the whole paper, 
you should omit sections 2 and 3 and concentrate on the remaining sections:
