Hello everyone,
Here are a couple of philosophy of art events coming up, which may be of
interest:

What is Art? The Search is Over

19 October 2017, 17:00 - 20:00

Rooms SG1 & SG2, Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, Cambridge
This is a panel discussion and book launch for 'A New Dictionary of Art'. It
takes a crowdsourced approach to the question 'What is Art' and has over 3000
definitions of the term 'Art' found online. Professor Derek Matravers has
called it 'both splendid and splendidly bonkers' and also says it has 'serious
scholarly merit' and should be required reading for all students of the
philosophy of aesthetics.
