Dear all, A brief note to let you know that Schmilosophy – a reading group on heterodox philosophical traditions – will this term be reading work by French or Francophone philosophers from the 1980s onward. At our first meeting, this Saturday the 19th, we'll be discussing Michèle Le Dœuff's essay “Ants and Women, or Philosophy Without Borders”. We meet in the Garden Room of Robinson College. The official meeting starts at 1130 and ends at 1230, but you're encouraged to come from 1100 onward for coffee and biscuits and to stay on until 1300.
Details, and a PDF of the week's reading, available here: https://nakulkrishna.com/schmilosophy/ If you have not previously asked to be on our mailing list, please let me know and I'll add you. With best wishes, Nakul Krishna and Maarten Steenhagen _____________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from the CamPhilEvents mailing list, or change your membership options, please visit the list information page: http://bit.ly/CamPhilEvents List archive: http://bit.ly/CamPhilEventsArchive Please note that CamPhilEvents doesn't accept email attachments.
