Dear colleagues

I'm writing to let you know about two small changes in the programme for
the one-day conference on non-categorical thought to be held at 9am-630pm
on 25 MARCH in the FACULTY BOARD ROOM, FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY.

The first is that Peter Hawke has had to cancel his talk, so I'll be
talking instead from 9am on 'Evidentialism and objective value'.

The second is that Max Jones's talk will be held in room 326 where there
are better Skype facilities. This is just around the corner from the
Philosophy Faculty Board Room.

So the revised programme is as follows

9am - 10.15 am
AA (Cambridge): Evidentialism and objective value

10.30 - 11.45 am Ruth Byrne (TCD): Keeping track of what is real and what
is imagined: How people update the epistemic status of models of
counterfactuals.

12.05 - 1.20pm ROOM 326 Max Jones (Leeds / Bristol, via Skype): What are
the origins of counterfactual thought? Why do they matter?

1.15 - 2.15pm
lunch - sandwiches available in the Faculty

2.15 - 3.30pm John Divers / Shyane Siriwardena (Leeds / Cambridge):
Metaphysical Modality and Objective Probability.

3.45 - 5.00pm
Vincenzo Crupi (Turin): Three ways of being non-material

5.15pm - 6.30pm Salvador Mascarenhas (ENS, Paris): Reasoning with
disjunctions as a form of hypothesis testing

6.30pm
pub + dinner - will confrim where on the day

Best wishes, Arif
