Dear all,

The next meeting of the Serious Metaphysics Group will take place on Wednesday,
October 23rd at 4:30-6pm in the Philosophy Faculty Board Room. Bryan Roberts
(LSE) will give a talk entitled "Causation when time unfolds in the wrong
direction”, see below for an abstract. In case you want to have a look I also
attach two papers Bryan asked me to share.

Hope to see many of you there!

Abstract:

We discuss the widespread assumption that physical causes must come before
effects in time, and argue that this assumption is undermined by the lack of a
preferred time orientation in modern physics.

All the best,
Benjamin
