Hello all, I am one of the convenors for the upcoming CRASSH Network, 'Talking as Cure? Contemporary Understandings of Mental Health and its Treatment' <http://www.crassh.cam.ac.uk/programmes/talking-as-cure-contemporary-understandings-of-mental-health-and-its-treatment-2020-21>. We will be taking an interdisciplinary look at the contemporary talk therapy, so if you want to know why the NHS keeps trying to give you Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or want to say grumpy (but informed!) things to your therapist we might be for you.
The network comprises of a fortnightly reading group, an adhoc work-in-progress group and a monthly 'Coffee with Clinicians' meeting, where clinicians will present work that they want to discuss with scholars from the humanities and social sciences. Please do send me an email if you would like to be added to the mailing list. You can also follow us at @TalkingasCure.
