http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/sbl.lasso?query=SBL55483 The .at registry, who look after a TLD that has been popular with RockPhish lately, has been listed on the SpamHaus SBL on the basis that their lack of assistance to the community is assisting spammers, specifically the senders of phishing emails. Apparently they told SpamHaus that their only criterion for removal of a domain would be forged WHOIS details -- and, a background reason, just try working out which registrar you need to contact for an .at domain... Since the SBL listing will adversely impact the .at registry's ability to send and receive email, it will be interesting to see whether their attitude to reports of domains used solely for phishing now becomes a bit more mainstream.... ... meanwhile, my current list of RockPhish domains live in the past 6 hours is: .as 1 .at 2 .bz 1 .cn 1 .hk 6 .jp 2 .ms 2 .tw 15 with all bar 5 of these being more than a day old... so there may be some more education of other registries, and registrars, to come... - -- richard Richard Clayton They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
