Does the file "/etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts" get used on Phoebe3?
I have two PCMCIA ethernet cards on my ThinkPad, one with a wire
and one wireless. The wired card is on my standard network and
the wireless card is on a different local network (for security).
The first card plugged in is called eth0, the second card is called eth1.
On RH the network numbers for ethernet cards is hardcoded into the
files in: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth{0,1}
The problem occurs when I plug the cards in in a different
order than normal (like after I over-tweak my wireless security
settings and can no-longer use the wireless link).
I would like a way to set network numbers based on card type
or some other HW id -- the wireless.opts file appears to
be what I want but it does not seems to get used.
