Wow, 3 days on a nice system like that! In 3 days, you could do some consulting, mow some lawns, sell beer, etc. and earn enough cash to buy a faster CPU that will outperform an optimized compile! ;)
Well, since you went *there*... It sounds like you sit and watch the pretty letters and numbers fly by whenever you compile something. Hey, whatever floats your boat. Who said I *wasn't* out doing consulting during that time (and spending the money on all new gadgets)? ;-)
