Just thought I'd share a couple of interesting acquisitions for this
week. If you haven't been here long, you probably don't know that I have
a special place in my heart for Columbia cylinder machines. I see
"character" in each one I find. Mostly from Columbia's manufacturing
penchant to let no part go to waste :)

This week I had the great luck of purchasing a Columbia A with
Washington DC decal. It'll look great sitting between a couple of
original, period photos of early Columbia A's that I've had for some time.

But good things seem to come in groups. A good friend sent me something
else that I have a keen fondness for - an instruction manual. Not just
any manual mind you, but the original directions for the Columbia N
Bijou. An amazing item, and a "class act" for a friend!
